What does business coaching in London look like?
One-to-one work, fortnightly, ninety minutes at a time — in person by appointment at East Finchley or by video from wherever you are. We coach across four areas — personal, leadership, business and financial — using one method: Performance on Purpose.
Time is the scarcest asset in this city.
London owners lose whole days to travel, meetings and noise. Coaching starts by winning back thinking time — because no plan survives a leader who never gets an uninterrupted hour to think.
The cost base punishes drift.
Rent, salaries and the price of winning a client are all higher here. That makes a pricing mistake or a slow hiring decision more expensive than almost anywhere else in Britain — and it makes clarity worth more.
Everyone is competing for the same people and clients.
Your best staff have options and your clients have alternatives. Keeping both takes deliberate leadership rather than gestures — and deliberate leadership is a skill you can build.
None of that changes what coaching is. It changes what we point it at first: your diary, your prices and how decisions leave your desk. The pattern underneath is the one we see everywhere — the owner is the constraint — but in London the price of leaving it unfixed compounds faster.
Where do sessions happen?
Our London base is at 16 Aylmer Parade, Aylmer Road, East Finchley, London N2 0PE. In-person sessions run there by appointment; most London clients choose video for most sessions, because a protected fortnightly slot beats a face-to-face meeting that keeps moving.
The pattern that works well: if you are local, meet in person for the first two diagnostic sessions — where we map the business and build the working relationship — then switch to video once the rhythm is set. The fee is the same either way. Everything starts with a free thirty-minute discovery call, and you can always reach us at hello@buzzcoaching.co.uk.
Performance on Purpose, in short.
One method, two questions asked together: are you performing well — and is it all serving a purpose that actually matters? It works at four levels — you, your leadership, your business and your finances — and it maps where you are on a simple quadrant. Drifting, The Treadmill and Unfulfilled Potential are the three corners owners get stuck in; the goal is the fourth: Performance on Purpose.
Progress is re-scored at every session, so movement is measured rather than guessed — and the point of all of it is the three freedoms: financial, time and mind. Explore Performance on Purpose.
Coaching across four areas of your business life.
Personal Coaching
How you think, decide and lead yourself. London rewards stamina and punishes drift — this is the work on mindset, energy and clarity, because the business can only go as far as you do.

Do sessions have to be at the East Finchley office?
No, and most are not. The office at 16 Aylmer Parade is available by appointment, but the majority of London clients work by video for a practical reason: crossing London for a ninety-minute session costs the best part of half a day, and sessions that expensive get cancelled the moment a quarter turns busy. Coaching only works when the sessions actually happen. If you are close enough to walk in, meeting in person for the first two diagnostic sessions is genuinely worth it — that is where the working relationship gets built. After that, a protected video slot beats a face-to-face meeting you keep rearranging. In person or online, the fee is the same.
What does London-specific coaching actually mean?
Mostly it means not pretending your cost base is normal. London owners carry rent, salaries and client acquisition costs that would look like an error to an adviser working in a cheaper market, and advice calibrated for that market produces the wrong answers — most obviously on pricing and on when to hire. It also means a market where your staff have more options than you would like and your clients have more suppliers than they need, so a standards problem becomes a retention problem quickly. Beyond that, the work is the same everywhere: the owner is the constraint, revenue has outgrown margin, and the important work keeps being deferred. Anyone selling you a distinctly London methodology is selling you a postcode.
What does business coaching cost in London?
You will get a specific figure on the thirty-minute discovery call, before committing to anything. The price is not published because the engagements are not equivalent — fortnightly ninety-minute one-to-one coaching and a lighter monthly accountability rhythm would both be badly served by one headline number. Two straight points. This is not the cheapest coaching available in London; there are group programmes running at a fraction of it, and for some owners those are the right purchase. And if the fee would be genuinely tight for the business right now, say so on the call — being told to fix the cash position first and come back in a quarter is a real outcome, not a negotiating position.
Who will I be working with?
One coach, consistently. Business, leadership and personal coaching runs with Andy. Financial Coaching runs with Peter, our Finance Director, for owners whose honest problem is that they cannot read their own numbers with confidence — that side of the work is delivered with Buzz Accounting, the same team. You will know which before you pay anything, and you are not handed to an associate once the engagement starts. Ask on the discovery call whether the person you are speaking to is the person you will be working with — it is a fair question to put to any coach in London, and the answer is not always yes. If the fit is wrong, say so in the first month.
