What is Buzz Coaching, and who runs it?
Buzz Coaching is a one-to-one coaching business for owner-managers, run by Andy Jackson and Peter Allen. It is a trading style of Buzz Accounting Ltd. Coaching covers four areas — personal, leadership, business and financial — and runs on a single method, Performance on Purpose.
How a session works.
You bring the problem you most need to solve and we work through it together. We challenge your thinking and look at your figures. You leave with two or three specific things to do and a date on which you will be asked whether you did them.
Who we coach.
We coach owners of established businesses who are carrying more than they should and suspect the constraint is structural. It suits businesses that have outgrown the owner’s original way of running them, often between five and fifty people.

What is behind the coaching?
Coaching is an unregulated trade, so ask any coach what they are trained in and what they are accountable to.
A documented method
Coaching runs on Performance on Purpose — a documented methodology with a quadrant, scored freedoms and a ninety-day rhythm. The planning sessions, the one-page plan and the profit and cashflow tools all come out of that method.
An AAT licence on the numbers
Peter is licensed by the AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians), and Financial Coaching runs with him. It is coaching that builds your confidence with the figures, and it is not regulated financial advice.

Money coaching for individuals and families — budgeting, cashflow, and getting a plan in place for personal money. It is coaching, not regulated financial advice, and it is separate from the business services.
Buzz Legal
Legal and HR support for small businesses — contracts, employment paperwork and other employment documents. If a problem raised in a coaching session is a legal one, we refer you to qualified help.
A manager who owns an outcome needs to see the margin, utilisation or job cost they are held to. If your management information cannot produce those figures, we name it as a data problem, and you decide how to fix it, with or without Buzz. Nothing said in a coaching session goes into your accountant’s file.

Do you run a business yourselves?
Yes. Buzz Coaching is a trading style of Buzz Accounting Ltd, a company with staff, clients, payroll and cash cycles, and it sits alongside Buzz Accounting, Buzz Money Coach and Buzz Legal. When you describe a month where payroll is due and a large client has gone quiet, we ask which debtor is furthest overdue and what you have said to them. Running these businesses is not the same as running yours, so ask us on the discovery call how our experience applies to your trade.
Who will I be working with, Andy or Peter?
One coach, consistently, and you will know which one before you pay anything. Personal, leadership and business coaching runs with Andy Jackson. Financial Coaching runs with Peter Allen, our Finance Director, for owners who want to read their own numbers with confidence — that side of the work is delivered with Buzz Accounting, the same team. Some engagements use both, and if yours needs both we will tell you. The same coach stays with you throughout. If the fit is wrong, say so in the first month.
Do you give legal, tax or financial advice?
No. Legal, tax and regulated financial advice are qualified professions, and Buzz Accounting and Buzz Legal sit alongside if you want them. Coaching does not run HR processes or make decisions on your behalf. Where we have direct experience of the same problem, you will hear what was done and what it cost.
How does coaching fit with the rest of the Buzz family?
You can use Buzz Coaching on its own. It sits alongside Buzz Accounting, Buzz Money Coach and Buzz Legal, and plenty of coaching clients use none of the others.
